The new season of crime drama, Blue Bloods has officially premiered on CBS on December 4, 2020. In the Season 11 premiere, New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan and the police department are dealing with the aftermath of protests of police brutality. Reagan composed a resignation later for the Mayor after his argument with Regina Thomas, the City Council Speaker regarding the protests.
Elsewhere, Danny and Baez have gone MIA (Missed in Action) while investigating Madeline’s case. Jamie, along with his nephew Joe and Anthony are now searching the missing officers. However, sometime later, they rescue Danny and Baez, and Baez joins Sunday dinner with the Reagans. Eddie has now decided to visit the parole hearing of his father, after witnessing misidentification case of a young woman and her father.
Blue Bloods Season 11 Episode 2 Preview
The upcoming episode is titled, In the Name of the Father, which will premiere on December 11, 2020. Like usual, the show will air on CBS at 10 pm ET and will be available to the streaming platform on the next day. John Behring has directed the second episode from the script of executive produce and screenwriter, Brian Burns. The next episode will certainly answer some of the unanswered questions in the season premiere.
Episode 2 may reveal who wrote the note when Danny opened a door during their investigation. Furthermore, Danny and Jamie will be investigating a new case, where they will work to find the notorious drug-lord guilty of his crime. Elsewhere, the son of late Joe Raegan, Joe Hill and his grandfather, Frank will have a difficult decision to make on their relationship. Joe Hill worked with Jamie in the previous episode to locate Danny and Baez but didn’t reveal his real identity with his uncle.
CBS renewed the police procedural series back in May 2020 for the eleventh season. However, for the first time, a Blue Bloods season will feature only 16 episodes.
