Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date, Cast and More

One of the most widely circulated Manga series has a dedicated fan following too. Even though season 1 is still not complete, the talk of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is already making rounds. Simply because the manga has as many as 13 series, more to come it seems, so there is plenty of material to work on.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: Main Characters

Yuji Itadori is the main hero of the series. A natural-born athlete and a caring grandson. He refuses to join his `track team and instead joins the Occult Research Club of his school. So that he can chill with his school seniors and leave school early.

He visits his grandfather at his hospice every day. His grandfather teaches him two lessons – ‘’always help others’’ and ‘’die surrounded by people’’.

He takes these two lessons to his heart, as his grandfather passes away and thinks about how he can work on them.

Megumi Fushifuro is a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College. Yuri and Megumi, while Megumi is looking for a highly cursed charm talisman, believed to hold satanic power.

Yuri being a member of the Occult club opens a box containing the rotten finger-like object which releases phantom-like creatures called Curses, that could bring about everyone’s downfall. He then swallows the rotten finger to save others. Surprisingly he still able to maintain his real self without the negative energies of the finger affecting him much.

Nobara and Satoru are other main characters of the manga. On the suggestion of Megumi, that Yuji could try and swallow the nine fingers of the Curses in order to save the world, a plan is hatched to train Yuri in Occult science at a speed.

We can expect Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 to focus on finding and thus destroying these Curses and saving the day.
