Tropical Storm Epsilon Poses A Massive Threat

Tropical Storm Epsilon gained strength on Monday morning. It gained in the central Atlantic. As of now the latest in what has been a very active hurricane season. The storm has maximum sustained winds of up to 45 mph. This is up slightly from when it formed hours earlier. Additional strengthening of the Epsilon was forecast. It was to be at or near hurricane strength by early this Thursday. The United States National Hurrican center said.

The storm is centered Monday afternoon. It is nearly 730 miles southeast of Bermuda. It was stationary. A slow and northward motion is expected. Especially during the night. The forecasters suggested while adding the storm was then expected to take a more northwestward track. Soon as it approaches Bermuda by approximately Thursday.

The 2020 Atlantic Hurrican has seriously racked up storms at a very breakneck speed. This season is having too many storms. The number of storms is so great that the Hurricane Center had to look to the Greek alphabet for storm names. This was due to running out of official names. Epsilon has also represented a record for the earliest 26th named storm. It beat out Nov. 22 in 2005. According to a Colorado State University hurricane researcher named Phil Klotzbach.

Klotzbach suggested if Epsilon becomes a hurricane by Wednesday, it will be the 10th hurricane of the 2020 from the Atlantic season to date.
