Samsung Exynos chipset 1080 releasing soon!

Nowadays in any device chipset is one of the main components to run the device. There are not many companies who produce chipsets and that’s why there is a lot of competition in chipset production. One of the most famous companies for chipset production is Samsung with its Exynos series. On 9th October 2020, Samsung officially announced that the successor of Exynos 980, Exynos 1080 is coming soon.

A chipset is a set of electronic components in an integrated circuit known as a “Data flow management system” that manages the data flow between the processors, memory, and peripherals. It is usually found on the motherboard. Exynos, formerly HummingBird, is a series of ARM-based-system-on-chipsets founded by Samsung. It is also believed to be the continuation of Samsung’s earlier S3C, S5L, and S5P line of SoCs. The first Exynos created by Samsung was the Exynos 3 single which was launched in 2009 with a licensed ARM Cortex A8 CPU. From then on, Samsung has created several Exynos processors, good Samsung Exynos 980 being the latest processor created.

The Next Generation Processor:

On 9th October 2020, Samsung has officially announced that this Samsung Exynos 1080 will be coming soon in the market. Although the production of Exynos 980 is still going and will be available till the end of the year 2020 but expecting Exynos 1080 this early to Exynos 980 was kind of not what we were expecting. Although the date of launch is not announced yet, it may be introduced in the next Samsung 5G smartphone. Samsung announced that this latest chipset is built on the 5nm processor AnTuTu scores surpassing which will surely surpass the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+. We will surely be able to see its processing in the year 2021.

We know that 2020 went with giving new smartphones and many more devices. But this article shows that 2021 will open a gate for us to discover more futuristic things.
