Nintendo has finally decided to pull back the curtain on the next add-on fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The curtain will be pulled back on October 1st, and the fans couldn’t be more excited. The unveiling will be done with the help of a short video presentation. The video will be premiering on the 1st of October at 7 AM Pacific Time / 10 AM Eastern Time.

During the short video premiere, the brand Nintendo has revealed that the new Smash Bros. Ultimate. Character is none other than Steve from Minecraft! Yes, this news did break the internet, more specifically twitter for a short period of time. No, don’t worry the twitter is back to normal now.

What Did The Presentation Consist Of?

The presentation as mentioned by Nintendo lasted approximately 3 minutes. The presentation was then followed by a brief message from the game director Masahiro Sakurai. That means that the fans did not get an in the detail view of the new fighter just yet. The release of Steve from Minecraft is bound be some sort of milestone of the Nintendo company and brand. That is exactly what it is. This has marked the second DLC fighter to arrive from Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2. In case you’re wondering who the first was, it was Min Min from Arms who was added back in June. Currently, the plans say that the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will add six new characters in total to the game. This means that four more characters are on their way. The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 costa $30 USD (€25 approximately).

Smash Bros. Ultimate’s most recent update meant that there was a new free level for all the players. The level was called Small Battlefield. the latest and the most recent update came in the month of August. More about the level; as its name says, this is a smaller version of the classic Battlefield stage. This makes for a much tighter arena. You can also play any music tracks from other stages on the level.
