Microsoft has announced a small 12.4-inch laptop and it’s going to cost just $549

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Go is a very small, sleek laptop with a 12.4-inch screen. And it’s available for just $549. However, do not confuse the Laptop Go with the Go 2. These are two different laptops from Microsoft.

Surface Laptop Go

This PC is going to be powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor. And it can be equipped with up to 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. The Laptop Go is not meant for heavy users, rather it is more suitable for kids, students, or anyone who doesn’t need to perform extensive tasks like gaming, editing, etc. The laptop has both USB-C and USB-A connections. The laptop has a very good screen with fewer bezels. The 12.5 inch is very good when compared to the 10.5-inch screen on Go2.

Surprisingly, there is no Windows Hello Camera on the laptop. Over the last few years, this has been a staple in Surface Laptops.

Microsoft also announced a new revamped version of the last year’s Surface Pro X. The previous model was pretty bad. Let’s hope this one is better than it’s predecessor.

You can pre-order the Surface Laptop Go now, and it will be available in stores from October 13th.
