A few days to go until the Nest Audio Speakers, as well as the Google Chromecast, gets officially launched to the world. But before these devices get launched, they have been leaked more times than anyone can count on their fingertips. Due to these leaks, there isn’t much we don’t know about. But, we’ve still dug to the depths of the internet and found out some more information about these well-awaited devices. If you’re here for the Google Chromecast leaks, we’ve split all the tea here.
More information has presented itself on Walmart’s app, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. The Nest Audio Speaker has a live page on the Walmart app, which they (Walmart) have tried to conceal. After a bit of digging through it, it reveals both the variants of the upcoming Nest Speaker. The Nest Speaker (according to the Walmart app) will be available in two colours. The two colour variants will be chalk (GA01420-US) and charcoal (GA01586-US). All angle shots, as well as a price tag of $9.99, is available of Walmart app.
On the other hand, Walmart expects to have the chalk version available to buy by October 1st, while the charcoal version might be available in another week, depending on the store. Either way, we will be able to buy this speaker shortly after Google shows it off.
Description Of The Nest Audio Speakers
Walmart provided a description of the Nest Audio Speakers on its app. The description reads, “Meet Nest Audio. Hear music the way it should sound, with crisp vocals and powerful bass that fill the room.” Then the Walmart app further goes on to mention a few stranger buying, which are,
- provides 75% louder audio than the original Google Home.
- Has 50% stronger bass.
- Product is made with 70% recycled plastic.
- works with all of your other Nest speakers to “create a home audio system.”
- Can control of the smart devices in the home.
- As per the listing that has popped up on Lowe’s, the dimensions of the speaker are 6.89 x 4.88 x 3.07 inches and it will weigh 2.64lbs. These dimensions pt the Nest Audio Speaker between Nest Mini and the original Google Home.
- The Smart Speaker is also covered with fabric, just like its previous generations. The speaker also seems to have LED lights under the fabric, which indicate the speaker is activated. The speaker also seems to have a mute switch on the back.
