President Donald Trump has nominated a new Supreme Court judge after the death of the former Supreme Court judge, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. According To Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s will, she wanted to be replaced after the US Presidential elections. By nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett, this Saturday, Donald Trump has taken the first step towards solidifying a 6-3 conservative majority on the high court. A shift like this in the Supreme court could usher in sweeping changes to health care. Not only this but also abortion, voting and gun rights. But the nominating moment also served as an approach to female voters. Trump tries to address a historic gender gap in the polls. For all we know, this could be this trick to getting more votes.
