Halsey celebrated her three billion Spotify streams in quite a style. She had an outdoor feast, but instead of normal plates, she ate it out of her Spotify plaques.
Halsey has come a long way since her debut album, “Badlands”. She has two Grammy nominations and has three songs that have crossed one billion streams on Spotify. She recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of her debut album.
In her post, she ate snacks and candies of her two Spotify plaques. She had received those plaques for ‘Closer’ and ‘Without Me’. And as the camera panned up, she said that they owe her one more plaque. She was referring to her 2018 track, ‘Eastside’, on which she collaborated with Khalid and Benny Blanco.
Halsey called out Drake on her post
She also mentioned Drake on her post, She said “Checkmate” Drake. Drake had earlier posted a video where he could be seen eating Pasta out of his Spotify Plaque. Drake had received the plaque for his single, ‘In My Feelings’.
On the career front, Halsey will be seen acting in the upcoming series, ‘The Player’s Table’. Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney will also be there in the series. Halsey had earlier made some cameos in movies.
