Xbox Series S was shown way back in July but nobody noticed

Microsoft had actually shown the Xbox Series S back in July and nobody noticed. The Xbox Series S might have been leaked one week before its launch. But Xbox chief Phil Spencer had hidden the Series S on the shelves behind him back in July.

An elaborate prank

This was confirmed by Xbox’x official twitter account. Spencer had appeared in three videos and all the videos had the Xbox Series S behind him. All of this was apparently a prank played by Microsoft.

The Xbox Series S uses the same CPU as its bigger brother, the Xbox Series X. Series S also has a 512GB SSD. It is capable of playing heavy titles at good frame rates albeit the resolution needs to be lowered down. The Xbox Series S is available for just $299.
