Los Angeles Lakers are looking forward to appear in the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2009-10 season. Lakers are currently 3-1 up ahead in the best-of-seven series, and a win on Saturday will confirm their place on the conference finals. Meanwhile, the Rockets will try to force a Game 6 and avoid the elimination.
Tip-off: 8.00 PM Eastern Time @ ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, on Saturday
Lakers were cruising on Game 4, with an impressive 23-point lead, and things were going smoothly until the third quarter. LeBron James and the company almost blew the lead during the clutch on Thursday night. Alex Caruso came off the bench and scored an incredible clutch three-pointer to lead the Lakers to 110-100 victory.
The four-time MVP LeBron James said that they should have put more pressure on the Rockets’ defence and not to blow such big lead easily. James dropped 6 points and 15 rebounds, while Anthony Davis scored 29 points with 12 rebounds in the victory. Lakers last appeared in the finals in 2010 where they beat Phoenix Suns and eventually win the NBA Championship as well.
Houston’s guard wasn’t thrilled with the performance of the team on Thursday. He then said that the team need to be refocused and be prepared for the fifth game. The NBA kicked Rockets’ Danuel House Jr. out of the NBA Bubble after sneaking female guest on September 8.
