LeBron James and company are looking to close out the fifth game in NBA Playoffs 2020 and reach Western Conference Semis. At the moment, the Los Angeles Lakers are cruising through Game 4 with a 3-1 series lead against Portland Trailblazers. LA Lakers seem to have a clear advantage against Lillard-less Trailblazers.
Lakers-Trailblazers followed Bucks-Magic and Rockets-Thunder’s decision to boycott Game 5. Bucks decided not to show up at the frontcourt in Orlando following the shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday near Kenosha. Lakers were originally on the decision to boycott this year’s NBA Playoffs but later came around. Lakers, along with the city rivals, LA Clippers reportedly voted to boycott season.
Now, the players and coaching staff are okay with the decision to resume the game. Game 5 between LA Lakers and Portland Trailblazers will tip-off at 9 PM ET on Saturday in Orlando NBA Bubble.
Trailblazers led by injured Damian Lillard defeated LA Lakers 100-93 on Game 1, where he scored 34 points. But, unfortunately, Lillard won’t continue the rest of the playoffs after suffering a dislocation on his left index finger. Portland’s coach Terry Stotts expressed that they weren’t good after missing out on Lillard. He mentioned that it would be had a battle against such a good team.
Veteran Carmelo Anthony and CJ McCollum would lead the team hoping for a win. As per Lakers, everyone looks in their position, expect Rajon Rondo, who hasn’t featured a game in Bubble.
