Facebook is rolling out an update to Facebook Messenger that removes the Discover tab where one would normally go to find chat-bots, while also changing how you find GIF or stickers to send in a conversion. This year, Facebook announced it planned to update Messenger last summer, and TechCrunch now reports the update will begin rolling out in March 2020. The company introduced the feature that enables users to connect with a large number of people in a common digital space to Facebook, Messenger, and even WhatsApp.
1. Facebook rolls a major upgrade to Messenger rooms
Facebook introduces the ability to customize the background in Messenger Rooms. Their photos can be used in video chats. The users can customize the background in Messenger Rooms with a video. Now, the company has rolled out a major update that gives certain new features and functionality to Messenger Rooms.
2. UPDATE OF MESSENGERS ROOM
Firstly, Messenger Rooms is getting customization backgrounds. Till now, Messenger Rooms users could use Messenger’s AR effects, such as immersive 360-degree backgrounds and mood lighting filters, in Messenger Rooms. Now, the company is making the ability to customize the background in Messenger Rooms. In addition to introducing customizable backgrounds, Facebook has also introduced the ability to create, share, manage, and drop by a room using the Messenger app.
3. Facebook Chat Plugin :
People who aren’t logged into Facebook can use business websites for major updates to the Facebook Chat Plugin. This helps the customers to interact with your business anytime with the same personalized, rich-media experience they get in Messenger. This will let businesses reach more customers through their website than before. In addition, brand new design for the plugin is said to make conversations easier and more intuitive.
4. Bye-bye Discover tab
Streamlining Messenger’s Android and iOS apps, with an update removes all the business-focused features. The Discover tab is where you’d find business accounts and chatbots, as well as Facebook Instant Games.
