Update: Possible Nipomo Shooter in Custody, Police Arrest one Person of Interest in Nipomo Shooting

Update: SLO County Sheriff has confirmed that they have arrested one person of interest in the Nipomo Shooting at around 12:00 pm. Police have not yet confirmed whether the person arrested is the Shooter responsible for Friday’s incident.

Authorities from SLO County Sheriff responded to shots fired call on Friday Morning at around 11:30 am at a Vons Gas Station on 500 block of West Tefft Street, California.

CHP has informed that they have closed the Tefft on and off ramps along Highway 101 in Nipomo along with Teft & Mary Avenue intersection.

First Responders met with a hail of gunfire when they got there, SLO County Sheriff office reported.

The Shooter was initially identified as a Man Wearing Black-Clad Body Armour but no further description has been released by the Sheriff’s Office yet.

They have also not reported any injured or victim in this Incident.

Authorities have still sealed of the Vons Gas Station and the nearby area as the situation is still ongoing and there might be a possibility there might be a second shooter.
