Nick Cave and his fashion designer wife Susie Bick sold their eight-bedroom seafront mansion in Brighton for £3.25m (S$5.8m). They put the house on the market last month.

After their son Arthur died tragically in 2015, the couple left the coastal city because it was “too sad.” Nick said they realized later that they had brought their pain with them, so they returned to England.

Susie’s Instagram page has photos of her gothic life. Moreover, she flaunted pictures of her strange Grade I-listed townhouse.

With its chiclet pink walls and Victorian furniture, the couple’s home shows how many different styles they like.

The large room has modern black kitchen cabinets and a rustic wooden breakfast bar with black and gold stools on one side. The room is built around a traditional eight-person dining table and chairs. It also has a large fireplace and an old glass chandelier.

According to a description of the property, the estate was finished in 1828 and was designed by the well-known architect Charles Augustin Busby. It has 250 impressive houses.

Nick and Susie are getting ready to move again. They have put their four-bathroom home with a brightly colored gym on the market.

After living in Brighton for almost 20 years, the couple will move to a different part of the city because they have grown to love it.

The musician and his family lived in Brighton’s grand Regency seaside mansion for 15 years. He told GQ magazine, “Pain, illness, and tiredness feed off each other in a kind of feeding frenzy.”
