The Google Pixel 7 series is now available, although it doesn’t offer a significant upgrade over the Pixel 6 lineup. There are some noteworthy additions.
Hence it includes a more powerful Tensor G2 chipset and innovative photography features. The VPN by Google One is also included with the Pixel 7 series to protect online activity.
On October 6, 2022, Google unveiled the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. It has a 6.3-inch display, a 50MP, 2160p sensor, 8GB of RAM, Tensor G2, and a 4355mAh battery.
Free VPN Service for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Google is providing Pixel 7 owners with a free VPN service. Not all users will be able to utilize it. It is primarily due to the VPN by Google One’s limited availability. The United States, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Europe are among these.
For those unfamiliar, the Google One VPN is a virtual private network. It encrypts all of your traffic to make browsing safer. It does not, however, provide more sophisticated features, such as the capacity to get around geographical limitations.
Features for Security due to VPN
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro’s security tentpole includes the Google One free VPN, which will arrive in December. Google announced the Pixel 7 series with two features marked as coming soon.
Customers of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7* Pro can obtain a VPN through Google One. Thus this availability is at a Google One support page. There is no additional charge on smartphones running the Google One app without a Google One subscription.

Eligibility Status for Free Service
This article also states that Workspace and some supervised accounts (including kid accounts) are not eligible. The VPN will not be offered for Pixel 7 devices sold in Singapore or India.
According to Google, the free offering does not affect the price or benefits of Google One Premium subscriptions. The straightforward method of implementation is this. But a plan discount would have been excellent.
Current Customers Plans
Pixel 7 benefit appears to be the same VPN method already available to current customers inside the Google One app. Its December arrival date remains puzzling. The Google carrier shows just a status bar symbol with no specific notice. But hopefully, there will be a deeper integration. Similar to how Pixel smartphones manage the Google Fi VPN.
The following schedule for feature drop and Android 13 QPR1 is in December, which bodes well for the phone. While the phone users rename Screen Protector Mode to reflect some QPR1 features. It is still running Android 13. The other soon-to-be-released part. Google promoted at launch to enhance voice quality with machine learning called Clear Calling.
