Message from a Royal Expert about King Charles III’s coronation

A royal expert says that King Charles III’s coronation is being held on the same day as his grandson Archie Harrison Mountbatten-fourth Windsor’s birthday. According to a royal expert, he also says it is “not a snub” but rather a “pleasing coincidence.”

His realization sparked a range of reactions. Some people speculated that they intentionally chose the date to deprive Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son of the “spotlight.”. In contrast, others said it was a “beautiful gesture” that the coronation would occur on Archie’s birthday.

Statement in Official Royal Family Twitter Account

Following much conjecture about when the coronation would occur, the royal family’s official Twitter account revealed the date on October 11. Eight months have passed since Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, which led to his ascension to the throne.

The tweet stated that His Majesty the King’s Coronation will occur on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey. His Majesty King Charles III and the Queen Consort crowns during the ceremony.

In addition to being Archie’s birthday, May 6 is historically significant. King Edward VII died of a heart attack on May 6, 1910, becoming King George V, the new monarch. King George V, the great-grandfather of King Charles, really changed. The name of his royal family from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor following World War I has retained that name ever since.

Second Coincidence with King Charles III’s Coronation

King Charles’s coronation was the second occasion that a significant royal experience coincided with one of the Sussex children’s birthdays. Lilibet “Lili” Diana, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, turned one in June. It was while the UK was celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Her family celebrated by having a picnic in the backyard of Frogmore Cottage. At the same time, it does appear likely that Archie will travel with his family to London for the historic crowning. It is unknown whether or not he will be spending his fourth birthday there.
