Keanu Reeves tried his hand at the TV for a short time. However, he has decided to quit now.
Entertainment Weekly says that the 58-year-old star of “The Matrix” has left his role in Scorsese and DiCaprio’s Devil in the White City series on Hulu. This happened just two months after he was cast as architect and city planner Daniel H. Burnham.

People asked Hulu and Reeves for comments, but they didn’t get back to us immediately. The eight-episode series is set to come out in 2024. However, production probably won’t start until next year.
The show comes from ABC Signature and Paramount Television Studios together. Martin Scorsese and some others are the movie’s executive producers. Shaw is writing and will be in charge of the show. The field will be in order.
Did DiCaprio buy its right?
The Hollywood Reporter says Hulu is already looking for a new lead for the drama. Moreover, it has been in the works for more than ten years. EW says DiCaprio has been working on a project version since 2003 when Tom Cruise owned the original story’s rights.
Since DiCaprio bought the film rights to the book in 2010. Moreover, it was set up as a feature at Paramount with Scorsese to direct. The project has gone through several stages. In 2019, Hulu said it was doing the project into a high-budget TV show, with DiCaprio and Scorsese as executive producers.
In August, it was announced that Reeves would play Daniel Burnham, a man who changed how cities looked and helped build the first skyscrapers. This would be Reeves’ first leading role on an American TV show.

Scorsese, 79, and DiCaprio, both executive producers, have previously worked on many projects. DiCaprio is not expected to be in the series, and Reeves was also supposed to be an executive producer at one point.
Scorsese and DiCaprio have worked together before as directors and actors on Gangs of New York (2002), Shutter Island (2010), and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).
The much-anticipated Matrix Resurrections came out in December. Reeves has been busy, but he has said he would return to the franchise if director Lana Wachowski wants him to. In addition to signing on for a Constantine sequel, he has been promoting the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4.
Although, Reeves’s fans wanted to see more of his action over the tv. However, let’s see when he will make a comeback.
