Zendaya sets a record at Emmy Awards for being the youngest two-time acting winner

At the Emmys award, Zendaya made history once more. She played the lead in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria and received a second dramatic actress award. She received the award twice as the youngest actor ever.

After this, the actress expressed gratitude to the Euphoria cast and crew. She said she took pride in being recognized as one of the top actresses in her field and appreciated providing a safe setting for her to complete this challenging occasion. 

She wants to thank the Academy and her friends and family. Some of whom are here tonight. Sam was friendly enough to share Rue with her. And is grateful for the support, even if she didn’t think she did not deserve it.

Zendaya expressed her gratitude to those who had shared their stories with her. Euphoria’s potential to aid in human healing was her main focus. Everybody who loves a Rue or feels like a Rue ought to be aware. She is so grateful for their experiences, she says. They are also with her. She carries them.

In addition, Zendaya, 26, if Euphoria wins the prize for Outstanding Drama Series. Zendaya, who serves as the show’s executive producer, may soon shatter the record for youngest producer winner. 

She was also nominated as a co-lyricist of Elliot’s Song from the Euphoria album and was nominated again this year for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for her song I’m Tired. Then she and her fellow nominees were Muzhda Zemar-McKenzie and Labrinth. Moreover, Schmigadoon’s Cinco Paul defeated Sam Levinson.

Youngest Dramatic Actor Record

Before now, Zendaya had broken the record for becoming the youngest dramatic actor. In 2020, she took home her first Emmy for her lead performance in Euphoria. The actress outperformed several Emmy candidates. 

Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh from Killing Eve, Laura Linney from Ozark, Reese Witherspoon from The Morning Show. And Melanie Lynskey from Yellowjackets is one of a few notable actors that have appeared this year.
