Meghan Markle has canceled several planned appearances after Queen’s death

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Meghan Markle canceled several forthcoming TV interviews in New York as the Queen’s burial is to take place on September 19.

Hence sources indicate that Meghan has canceled a solo performance on The Tonight Show. Also, the show was with Jimmy Fallon, scheduled for September 20. Meghan is 41 years old.

Schedule of Meghan to UN General Assembly 

With her husband, Harry, Meghan will attend the UN General Assembly in Manhattan. But that appearance has also apparently been postponed. Harry is 37 years old. In light of the passing of her husband’s grandmother, Meghan’s brand-new podcast, Archetypes, is also apparently planning to postpone the release of the upcoming episode.

Meghan had a show on Fallon. But it has been postponed. The couple was visiting the UK for some other appearances on the schedule. Moreover, it includes one at a charity event when the Queen passed away. Furthermore, the couple typically resides in California, in the US.

Harry was one of the Royals to travel to Balmoral while the world awaited word from Buckingham Palace. Further, it was following the announcement that the Queen’s health had deteriorated.

While another decision is that Charles and Meghan will stay in the country until the Queen’s funeral. Also, it is unknown if their two young children, Archie, and Lilibet, will be over in the interim. Archie was three years old, and Lilibet was 15 months old.

King Charles III Statement

King Charles III made a point to address the couple in his first statement to the nation on television. He said, “He wants to express my admiration for Harry and Meghan as they continue to construct their life overseas.”

At noon on September 8, Buckingham Palace issued a statement. Further, it confirms that doctors were watching over the Queen. The world waited for news as her children hurried to her side. Then, at 6.30 p.m., there was an announcement that the Queen had passed away peacefully at Balmoral that afternoon. The age of the Queen is 96.

The following was in the statement. Also, this display was on the Palace’s gates: “The Queen passed away quietly at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and the Queen Consort will stay at Balmoral until this evening and travel back to London the next day.”
