The Popular K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is back with another sizzling album for the fans. The YG Entertainment girl group dropped an exciting video titled ‘BORN PINK’ ANNOUNCEMENT TRAILER, laying out a roadmap for the next few months to come.
The new album comes almost two years after BLACKPINK released its first full-length album titled THE ALBUM. The album featured the title Lovesick Girls. The K-pop group also collaborated with Selena Gomez on one of the tracks, titled Ice Cream.
BLACKPINK first teased the new album on May 23 and in a July 6 article, the group shared that they were in the “final stages of recording a new album.” Now, the moment BLINKs have been waiting for is finally here — BLACKPINK officially announced their new album, Born Pink, in an epic trailer announcement on Sunday, July 31. BLACKPINK recently drops the latest track “Ready for Love” on July 29. The fans have been showering the music video with love since its release. There are speculations that it may include in the tracklist. There’s no confirmed tracklist yet, but since the album is arriving in September, you can expect an official announcement very soon.
Since BLACKPINK’s Born Pink is set to drop in September, you can expect tons of new music from Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo soon.
In October, the group will begin its largest-ever world tour to meet its international fans. The agency announces this without giving exact dates or hours. The group is set to head out of South Korea for a world tour starting this October.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s ‘The Album’ became the first million-selling album from a K-pop girl group, selling more than 1.4 million copies. It was a big success in the global market, debuting at No. 2 on Billboard 200 and the British Official Chart for albums upon its release.
