The Multiverse Of Madness: Highlights
With Phase 4, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is reaching new heights, and it all comes together in Doctor Strange 2, dubbed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The sequel film will combine storyline elements from Loki, WandaVision, and Spider-Man: No Way Home to create a tale that might be even bigger than Avengers: Endgame. But there’s no need to feel rushed.
The Multiverse Of Madness: Release Date
On May 6, 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be published. It was planned to appear on March 25, but owing to six weeks of reshoots in late 2021, it was postponed (per The Hollywood Reporter).
Those reshoots are now complete, however, director Sam Raimi has hinted that more changes may be required if the test screenings go poorly.
What We Know

The Multiverse of Madness will bring elements of Fox’s X-Men universe and Marvel’s animated anthology TV show, What If…?, into the MCU. Due to Evil Doctor Strange’s involvement in the initial teaser, we already knew What If…? would play a part. While there has been speculation that Professor X and other X-Men will appear in some capacity, the teaser reveals that Patrick Stewart’s X-Men leader will be among the ensemble cast.
Where To Watch The Movie?
Aside from theatres and cinemas, Disney CEO Bob Chapek has hinted that Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness might end up on Disney Plus. According to Alex Zalben of Decider, Chapek stated at a recent Disney earnings webcast that the second Doctor Strange picture will be available for Streaming this summer.
