Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 14: Spoilers
Yuji Itadori is an abnormally fit high school student living in Sendai with his grandfather. He usually stays away from the track team, in spite of his inborn talent or aptitude for the sport. Instead, he joins the Occult Research Club, due to the privilege it permits him in addressing, so he can come up to see his dying grandfather in the hospital every day.
In June 2018, on his deathbed, his grandfather implants two influential messages within Yuji: “always help others” and “die adjoined by people.” After his grandfather’s death, Yuji translates these messages as one statement and that is, everyone deserves “a proper death”.
