Marvel series and Daredevil are leaving the Netflix platform, but don’t have a new home yet.

Netflix’s Marvel comic series “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”, “Iron Fist”, “The Punisher” and ” The defenders” are all leaving the Netflix platform for good by the end of February. It was confirmed by Variety.
The rights to these series are reverting back to Disney. But the studio has not yet revealed plans for where “Daredevil” and company will go. Streaming platforms such a Disney plus and Hulu are the possibilities, where it can go. Disney officially did not give any statements when asked by Variety.
Marvel’s fans discovered a disclaimer from Netflix on these series that says,”Last day to watch on Netflix: February 28″, raising questions on the viewer’s mind about the streaming platform they will go to next. While all of Netflix’s Marvel series were branded as “Netflix Originals” to consumers, the shows were licensed out to the streaming giant from Disney. The deal of Netflix’s licensing for the series has ended.
Netflix’s run of Marvel originals got its start with the launch of “Daredevil” in the year 2015 in April. All of the Netflix-Marvel series was canceled in the year 2018 and 2019 in the lead up to the November 2019 launch of Disney Plus. But due to a contract it prevented Netflix’s Marvel show and characters from appearing in any non-Netflix series of films for at least two years after each one’s cancellation.
In the year 2020, November marked two years since the “Daredevil” cancellation, Thus opening the door for leading star Charlie Cox to redo the fan-favorite character in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. That event finally happened in “Spider-Man: No way home”, In which Cox had a cameo appearance as his out-of-costume character Matt Murdock. Both Cox and Marvel Studios president – Kevin Feige has expressed interest in more Daredevil. As the “Daredevil” is leaving Netflix, Fans are expecting the speculation for a fourth season on Disney plus to increase.
