Kaiju No. 8, also known as Monster No. 8 in English is a Shonen manga series written by Naoya Matsumoto. The manga revolves around the metamorphosis of a Kaiju corpse cleanup man named Kafka Hibino.

According to Kaiju No. 8 Wiki, volume 2 of the manga consists of chapters 8 to 17. Although the final test of the defense forces has come to a close, the examinees’ challenges aren’t over. A mysterious humanoid Kaiju revives a countervailed Honju and sics it on Kikoru Shinomiya. As Kikoru seems to be in the endgame, Kafka rushes to aid her, but what is the actual goal of the humanoid kaiju?
