Susan has won the Oscar award for best actress for the movie “Dead Man Walking”. She doesn’t really like the cops and has also taken part in the black lives matter protest.
She posted a tweet on Twitter on Tuesday at 5:53 pm comparing New York City police department to fascists as thousands of cops gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral for the wake for slain New York City police department Officer Wilbert Mora.
Her tweet was a repost of a tweet that has a picture of a sea of uniformed cops filling Fifth Ave. for the funeral for Mora’s partner Rivera last week. The tweet says “I’m gonna tell my kids this is what fascism looks like,”.
The photo which Susan shared read “So, if all these cops weren’t needed for CRIME that day, doesn’t that mean they aren’t needed ANY day?”. She used the hashtag #abolishthepolice. She made the hashtag herself or she took it from elsewhere, this was not clear.

Susan has been censorious of the New York City police department in the past.
She also tweeted “shame on you” for former Mayor Bill de Blasio in 2020 after he applauded the New York City police department for tremendous restraint overall development during the protest of George Floyd.
The city police department of investigation afterward blasted police officials for the imprudent force during a number of protests and apologized for the behavior of New York City police department with the protesters.
Susan was arrested outside the police plaza in March 1999, where the protesters gathered for weeks complaining about civil disobedience after a street vendor Amadou Diallo shot dead by the cops.
