Taylor Swift to Star in David O. Russell’s New Movie

Taylor Swift released 2 albums during the pandemic, titled Folklore and Evermore. The albums were released within less duration in between them. Folklore was released in June last year with 16 songs, which won the Album of the Year at Grammy.

This made her the first female singer to win the award three times. Evermore was released in December of the same year, making it the 9th Swift album. The less duration between the two albums also gained her a World Record. Also breaking the record of highest Vinyl Sales of an album in just a week.

She has also acted or had a cameo in several movies such as The Cats, The Giver, Valentine’s Day, and more. In addition, Swift also has a documentary featuring her titled Miss Americana, which is available to stream on Netflix. The record-breaker artist would be back to act in a new movie.

David O. Russell Movie:

Taylor was confirmed to join the Star-studded cast of Margot Robbie, Anya Taylor Joy, Christian Bale, Rami Malek, Robert De Niro, John David Washington, and many more. The ensemble film would be five times Oscar-nominated David’s first movie after his 2015 film named Joy. From the Director of Academy Award-winning film, he would be directing the movie based on the script written by himself.

The movie has reportedly already finished production and would be released by 20th Century Studio.

About the Movie:

Everything about the movie has been kept secret. There is no information about the title, nor the plot, what the movie theme or genres would be, or which role will the whole cast play. Other than the packed cast nothing else is known about the movie. The movie will be produced by Matthew Budman, who also has produced two films by the same director.

With all its hushed knowledge and a full cast, the movie is very much under the wrap. Even New Regency and Taylor have declined to comment regarding the role. There has not been a confirmed release date either. A trailer and synopsis in some time can be expected.
