Stay Close: Release Date,Plot And More

Stay Close will be released on December 31, 2021, and launch on Netflix. The stay Close series was first revealed in October 2020.

Fans were overjoyed to learn that they will soon be immersed once more in Harlan Coben’s mysterious world. The Stranger, The Innocent, Safe, The Woods, and Gone for Good are among Coben’s other popular television adaptations.


The plot of The Stay Close

Stay Close follows Megan (Cush Jumbo), a working mother, Ray (Richard Armitage), a failing documentary photographer, and Jack Broome (James Nesbitt), a detective who is obsessed with a missing person’s case.

Each of them is fighting to keep their long-buried secrets hidden, but when Megan’s old friend Lorraine (Sarah Parrish) breaks the news, it throws their lives into disarray and brings their demons back to haunt them. As they face the realities of the suburban dream, they quickly discover that the line between respectability and truth is razor-thin.

Stay Close stars Cush Jumbo (Deadwater Fell, The Good Fight, The Good Wife), James Nesbitt (Bloody Sunday, The Missing), and Richard Armitage (Bloody Sunday, The Missing) (The Stranger, The Hobbit, Hannibal).

Megan, Broome, and Ray will be played by the cast members. Eddie Izzard (Hannibal), Daniel Francis (Small Axe), Sarah Parish (Bancroft), and Bethany Antonia (Hannibal) are among the other cast members (Get Even). Poppy Gilbert (The Pale Horse), Rachel Andrews (Butcher Boy), and Hyoie O’Grady also star (Mayday).

Stay Close

How many episodes does Stay Close have?

The limited series will consist of eight episodes, each of which will last one hour. If you’ve seen any of Coben’s earlier Netflix adaptations, you’ll notice that several of them contain eight episodes. So, this isn’t a brand-new concept.

Stay Close will premiere on Netflix on Friday, December 31st, 2021, just in time for the holidays. This release date applies to both the United States and the rest of the world. There are eight episodes in total, each lasting 45 minutes. Stay Close was finished filming in July.
