Komi Can’t Communicate is a coming-of-age based genre series that has its origin in Japan. It was a manga originally which is still on run. The first manga chapter was published back in 2016, and till now there are 23 volumes.
Because of the immense love received by the readers, it got its anime adaptation in 2021. Yoshihito Okashita and Eiji Ishii are the directors of the anime adaptation that aired on September 6, 2021.

The show revolves around two characters named Hitohito Tadano and Shouko Komi, who are having their first day in the private school. Komi is a beautiful girl, who catches the attention of everyone, no matter where she goes.
People tend to like her based on her appearance. But this was quite opposite for Tadano, even on his first day of school. The teacher made Tadano sit right next to Komi, and this made all the other classmates jealous.
When Tadano finds the right time to start a conversation with this beautiful girl, she tries to avoid him. Tadano soon realizes that Komi is a shy person and she is not comfortable around people.
He tries by writing with chalk that he can be a good friend to her and sooner or later everything will fall into place. Komi tells him that she wants to make friends at least 100, and Tadano promises that he will help her find 99 more friends.
