The plot of the King’s Affection
The story centers around the character named Lee Hwi who is trying to pretend in front of everyone that she is her twin brother, the original Lee Hwi, who died a couple of months back. It was necessary to hide his death and nobody in the Kingdom knew about Lee Hwi, the twin daughter. This is because when she was born everyone forced the Prince to kill her daughter, as during those times it was considered awful to have twins in the Kingdom.
However, the Prince couldn’t take her own daughter’s life, so he decided that the best he could do for her was to send her far away from all this. After secretly living far from her home, Lee Hwi was called upon when needed. She did everything and continued pretending herself as her twin brother, but she didn’t want to find the truth from Jung Ji Woon, for whom she began to grow emotions.
