86-Eighty Six is a sci-fi military-based romance animated series that originated in Japan. It is based on a light novel of the same name written by Asato Asato and illustrated by Shirabii. Nobuhiro Nakayama has produced this anime. The anime television series is directed by Toshimasa Ishii and Written by Toshiya Ōno. It has been on run since April 11, 2021, and viewers have garnered their love and affection for this series.

What happened in previous episodes?

In the previous episode, we get to see Shin and his friends working hard to qualify for their exam. They were determined to fulfill Ernst’s wishes and wanted to prove that they were worthy of joining the Special Officer’s Training School. We get to see them passing the exam which was the result of their previous experience in the military. Lt. Colonel was assigned as their mentor and while visiting a region, they came across the destroyed Juggernauts.

All the memories of Shin’s acquaintances were stored there as an honor. We also get to see Fido’s wreckage in a completely stable position without any sign of the previous injury. Shin helps his team and then he meets Eugene, who is now a friend. But something misfortunate happens when Eugene gets attacked and he couldn’t survive the injury. Shin was devastated to his core and he knew there is no way he could save everyone he loves.
