Kings Affection is a historically romantic drama series that originated in South Korea. The series is based on Yeonmo by Lee So-young. Han Hee-Jung and Song Hyun-wook are the writers and directors of Kings Affection.

The series began to air on October 11, 2021, and within its first few episodes, it has received immense love and affection from all over the world. It was created by Ki Min-soo and Hong Seok-gu.

The timeline of the series is set during the era of the Joseon Dynasty in which it was believed that giving birth to the twins could lead to the downfall of the kingdom. In this era, there was a Crown Prince whose wife gave birth to two beautiful twins, a boy, and a girl. It was decided that the twin daughter couldn’t live and she has to die. The Queen couldn’t afford to lose her precious daughter so she arranged a plan to send her out of the palace.

Years passed and his son Lee Hwi grew older. Unfortunately, the twin son was killed in a battle. The Crown Prince’s wife decided that it wasn’t the right time to reveal to everyone about her son’s demise so she secretly brought back her twin daughter and ordered her to live the rest of her life pretending to be Lee Hwi. But it wasn’t easy for the twin daughter as she started to feel for Jung Ji-Un, her teacher, who has no idea about her real identity.
