The story revolves around Towa and Setsuna, two sisters who are separated from each other after spending most of their childhood together. Towa is adopted in the modern era by her uncle and aunt but she constantly craves for the life she had once and the time she spent with her lovable sister. Setsuna manages to arrive in the modern era after almost ten years with the help of a time-travelling power of the mystical Sacred Tree of Ages.
During the time gap, it is revealed that Setsuna has now become a demon-slayer and works for Kohaku. The mysterious thing was, she had no idea about her past life as her memories were taken away by the the mythical Dream Butterfly. It was revealed that the only one who could bring back the memories of Setsuna was her twin sister Towa. So Towa decides that she needs to move forward in the quest of restoring Setsuna’s memories.
