World Trigger also known as WorTri in short, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara. It was initially serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2013 to November 2018, and then transferred to Jump Square in December 2018.

Its chapters have been compiled by Shueisha into 23 tankobon volumes as of February 2021. The manga has been licensed for English release by Viz Media. It is an anime television series adaptation, produced by Toei Animation and was aired on TV Asahi.

World Trigger is a Science fiction anime. The manga is all about, the community of a place known as Mikado City adjusts to life four years after a gate has opened to another world, allowing monsters and human-like people called “Neighbors” to attack and arrive. They are initially helpless against the threat, a defence force known as National Defence Agency, or Border arrives to protect everyone, using Neighbor technology known as “Triggers”.
