What is My Hero Academia?
My Hero Academia is a Japanese superhero manga series which is written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. The story is about Izuku Midoriya who’s a boy born without superpowers in a place called Quirks. He dreams of becoming a superhero by himself.
He gets scouted by Japan’s greatest superhero All Might. Who chooses Izuku as his successor and shares with him his quirk after he recognized his potential. He later helps him get enroll in the superhero school which is prestigious in the town for his further training.
Serialization of the My Hero Academia.
It is serialized in the weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. The chapters are additionally collected into 30 tankobon volumes as of April 2021. The first tankobon volume was released on 4th November 2014. in chapter 306 the manga has entered its final act which was released on March 21, 2021.
Viz Media has licensed the series for release in the English – language in North America. The first volume was published by Viz Media on August 4, 2015. As soon as the series gets published in Japan Viz – media publishes its English version on its digital media platform Weekly Shonen Jump. Shueisha also publishes manga on its website and app Manga Plus in English since 2019.
