Fire Force Chapter 279 is expected to be released on 17 August 2021. This manga is written and illustrated by Atsushi Kubo.
On September 23, 2015, it began publication in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine. Kubo revealed in May 2020 that Fire Force is nearing completion and would be his final manga. Kodansha has divided the chapters into several tankbon volumes. On February 17, 2016, the first volume was released. Twenty-nine volumes have been issued as of June 17, 2021.
Plot for Fire Force
In the year 198 of the Solar Era, special fire brigades in Tokyo are fighting phenomena known as spontaneous human combustion, in which humans are transformed into living infernos known as “Infernals.” While the Infernals are examples of spontaneous human combustion in the first generation, later generations have the ability to manipulate flames while maintaining human form.
Shinra Kusakabe, dubbed Devil’s Footprints because of his power to ignite his feet at will, joins Special Fire Force Company 8, a group of fellow flames users tasked with extinguishing any Infernals they come across. Shira attempts to investigate the truth about a mysterious fire that killed his family twelve years ago as a faction that is creating Infernals appears.
What Happened in Chapter 278
The doppelgänger causes widespread devastation throughout the city. Meanwhile, Obi directs his team to the meteor area in order to provide help to the individuals affected by the mass disaster. At that point, Assault enters and takes a position. Tamaki tries to stop him but fails. He begins to attack. Hinawa stops him by shooting at him when he tries to attack Tamaki. However, it has no effect on him.
Hinawa is blown away by the assault. Suddenly, a voice from nowhere told them all to get out of there. On assault, a rocket arrived and blew up. Juggernaut looks to be the culprit. Honda, his captain, instructs his teammates to look after what is essential to them. Tamaki is important to him, therefore he came here to assist her.
Assault responds to the juggernaut’s attacks by declaring that he will never longer be dominated by sex.
