Turner & Hooch is a Disney+ Original series. It is the legacy sequel of the 1989 film “Turner & Hooch”, and the third installment in the franchise. It is a buddy-cop comedy-action series directed by Matt Wix.
The series stars Josh Peck, Lyndsy Fonseca, Carra Patterson, and Vanessa Lengies in lead roles. You would know Josh Peck from the famous Nickelodeon TV show “Drake & Josh”. The series premiered on July 21, 2021.
Plot
The story of the series is similar to the original movie ‘Turner & Hooch’. US Marshal Scott Turner Jr. inherits an unruly and messy dog name Hooch after his father’s death. The dog is very similar to the one his father had adopted in 1989. Hooch would eventually become his partner in solving crimes and mysteries. The duo would eventually come to solve the death of Turner’s father, which they find out was not accidental at all.
Each of the episodes showcases a day of their lives solving cases and the peculiar situations they end up in. It is a very fun and interesting show with great characters and storylines.
Turner & Hooch Episode 5 Main Characters
The main character of the story is Scott Turner Jr., the son of late detective Scott Turner. You would know Scott Turner as the main character of the original film. Scott Turner Jr. is played by Josh Peck. He inherits a dog called Hooch after his father’s death. Though unruly at first, Hooch quickly becomes his partner in solving crimes.
Apart from the titular characters, the series also stars Lyndsey Fonseca as Scott’s sister Laura Turner, Carra Patterson as Jessica Baxter, Scott’s partner, and Vanessa Lengies as Erica Mounier, who trains Hooch. You can also see many other characters playing supporting roles throughout the series.
