The film I Am Number Four is based on the novel of the same name which is a part of the Lorien Legacies’ young adult science fiction Novels. The film was produced by Michael Bay, it was the first film produced by Dreamworks Pictures which was later released by TouchStone Pictures.
Story and plot of I am Number Four.
The story of the film is based on the life of John Smith who is an alien from the planet Lorien. Accompanied with 8 others he was sent on earth to escape the invading Mogadorians who were responsible for destroying Lorien. The 8 people sent with John Smith are called Garde. On earth, John has the protection of guardian (called the Cepan) Henri. John has developed powers, enhanced strength, speed, and agility.
The mogadorians come to know about the Grade’s travel to earth and follow them to kill them. Three of the grades are already killed. John Smith is the number four and Mogadorians’ next target likely is he.
Knowing about the Mogadorian John and Henri move from a beachside bungalow to an old farm in paradise.

I Am Number Four 2 Everything you need to know.
As of now, there is no news about the I Am Four-Number sequel. Back in 2011, the screen writer had told collider.com that the sequel was planned immediately. But the first movie received a very disappointing performance at the box office. After its release in both IMAX and conventical theatres on February 18, 2011, received very negative reviews and grossed only $150 million.
Due to the poor gross collections, the sequel of the film is said to have been canceled. As of now, there is no news about the sequel of I Am Number Four. But the story in the sequel has ended midway and the sequel will likely be produced in the coming years.
