Seraph of the End, also known as Owari no Seraph, is a Japanese Manga written by Tagaya Kagami and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. It’s mainly a dark-fantasy, action-adventure, and science fiction genre manga. The manga combines these three genres intricately and perfectly with its storyline and characters
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s monthly magazine Jump Square since September 4, 2012. It has also compiled the chapters into graphic novel volumes called tankōbon The first volume was released in 2013, and it has twenty-four volumes as of 2021. It also has an anime adaption, which was produced by Wit Studio. It premiered on April 24, 2015, and has a total of 24 episodes split into two seasons. The English dubbed version was licensed by Funimation, a subsidiary of Crunchyroll.
Seraph of the End Chapter 105 storyline:
The plot follows the story of Yuichiro Hyakuya, who lives in a world that had allegedly ended due to a ‘man-made virus’. This gives way to the rise of vampires and other age-old horrors, pushing mankind down the ladder. Humans are treated as livestock and are only left to live if they ‘donate’ their blood. Yuichiro learns of this and plans to escape
Yuichiro, with his other orphaned friends at the Hyakuya Orphanage, decides to escape from the clutches of the vampires. However, they are caught and everyone except Yuichiro and his friend Mikaela dies. Once Yuichiro gets away from the place, he vows to destroy all vampires. He is rescued by Moon Demon Company, a part of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army that works to fight vampires. He trains under them and works for them to eradicate vampires and exact revenge for destroying his ‘family’ in the orphanage.
Main Characters:
The manga mainly follows the story of Yuichiro Hyakuya. He is a sixteen-year-old boy working for the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, fighting and eradicating vampires. He grew up at the Hyakuya orphanage with a few other kids. He joined the vampire extermination team to seek revenge for his friends and Mikaela, who sacrificed himself to let Yuichiro escape.
The second main character is Mikaela Hyakuya. He sacrificed himself when he, Yuichiro, and a few other children tried to escape the orphanage. He was saved by Krul, a vampire, and was turned into a vampire as well. For the next four years, he is forced to live with the vampires and learns the truth about what the vampires and the people at the Hyakuya orphanage do.
As the story progresses, we are introduced to many more protagonists like Shinoa Hiragi, Yoichi Saotome, Gure Ichinose. The first antagonist of the story is Ferid Bathory, the vampire who sabotaged Yuichiro and Mikaela’s plans to escape. The story also contains many antagonists.
