About the new feature
A report from MacRumors says that YouTube gets a new feature for iOS users where they get a Picture-in-picture or PIP feature. In previous we see android users get that feature when they buy the premium subscription of YouTube.
This PIP feature is a very useful feature where you can access a video on YouTube while using another apps or website. Apple introduces this feature with the update of iOS 14 and now all the iOS and iPad are getting that feature. Now all the devices that run on iOS 14 can access this feature. Users now view the YouTube videos in a mini player that appearing on their screen when they use other apps or websites along with YouTube.
The users can also use this feature if they use a safari browser to open YouTube. In the of last year September, it was reported that, this feature was removed by either YouTube or Apple. But in October, we see again this feature work on the safari browser.
How to get this feature?
If you want to access this feature then you have to buy a premium subscription of YouTube. As of now, only the premium members can access the PIP feature. In the future, Apple may give this feature to all of their users in free of cost. But till then if you want to use it then you have to purchase the premium subscription.
