Rick and Morty Season 5 Episode 1: Release Date and Watch Online

The upcoming fifth season of the popular adult animated science fiction sitcom will air this Sunday, on June 20, 2021. Adult Swim will launch the new season on Global Rick and Morty Day, which will consist of 10 episodes. This is the second part of 70 additional episodes deal at Adult Swim that was confirmed in 2018. Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the show with Dan Harmon will voice both the titular characters.

The new season will see Morty standing up for himself against his drunk and dorky grandfather, Rick. Also, the season will start to fix the Smith’s family flawed relationship with Morty’s grandfather. Dan Harmon, while speaking to Digital Spy, revealed that Morty is fed up with his grandpa. He mentioned that fans always don’t want to watch Morty doing whatever his grandfather has planned for him.

The first episode of the fifth season will start airing from June 20, 2021, at 11pm ET on Adult Swim. Also, if you have the details of your cable provider, then you can also stream the new episode on Adult Swim’s official website. However, if you don’t have cable TV, then you can choose from the available Live TV streaming platforms like Sling TV, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV. A week later, you can stream either on Netflix, Hulu, or HBO Max, depending upon your region.

Rick and Morty, Season 5, Episode 1: What to expect in the New Season?

The upcoming new episode is called Mort Dinner Rick Andre. If you didn’t get the title, this is a Rick and Morty play on the popular 1981 comedy drama, My Dinner With Andre. Mr. Nimbus will appear in the fifth season, who is Rick’s long-time enemy. Dan Harmon, who previously voiced Birdperson is going to voice Mr. Nimbus. Mr. Nimbus, who resides in ocean and is coming to the dinner in the upcoming episode.

Adult Swim has already confirmed the release date of two more episodes from the fifth season. Mortyplicity will air on June 27, while A Rickconvenient Mort will release on July 4th.
