The Saga of Tanya the Evil is a Japanese light novel series. It is known as the Yojo Senki in Japan which means the military chronicles of a little girl. The series is based on the novel written by Carlo Zen. Shinobu Shinotsuki had done the illustration in the novel. And Youjo Senki Season 2 has been confirmed by the creator and is in production right now. However, we are yet to get a release date.
Youjo Senki The Story And More.
The serialization of the novel began back in 2012 in the Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine from April 26. The novel was then the adapter into an anime series by the NUT which was aired from January 6, 2017, till March 31, 2017.
The story is based on an unnamed atheist Japanese salaryman from Tokyo who gets killed by one of his subordinates. Whom he had fired because of his poor work performance. The story is traced back to the year 2013. The subordinate who killed his senior meets an entity that declares himself to be good and punishes the atheist for not having faith.
The atheist makes fun of the entity and calls him an X due to which he is cursed by the entity. According to the curse, the atheist will take a rebirth where he will have to face difficult situations and seek help from others by himself to be X.
Later he born as a Tanya Degurechaff in Germany. Tanya is an orphan child. She is born into an alternate world of imperial Germany where world war I of 1920 has commenced. According to the curse now if Tanya as an x doesn’t die naturally or has no faith she will again go through the cycles of reincarnation and will be sent to hell. In the journey, one thing she cares about is her own self and her own safety. She has no regrets or responsibilities towards the lives of her subordinates.
Youjo Senki Season 2 Release Date and Announcement
It’s been 3 years now since the last 3 episode of the first season was released. There was no announcement with regards to the renewal of the series or its cancellation. But according to the sources we can say that the series is likely to bounce back by 2022.

And that what the fans got. On June 19, the creators released the trailer for the upcoming Youjo Senki Season 2 and have officially confirmed that the season is in production. Therefore it is highly likely that Youjo Senki Season 2 release date could be set for Fall 2022. Till then fans will have to wait for an official confirmation from the showrunners for the release date.
