The most awaited and rumored Google Pixel watch finally launches though it seems we won’t be wearing them anytime soon. Since it’s Google then it’s no guess that the new smartwatch will be powered by Google’s own operating system for wearable devices, i.e. Wear OS. As per the rumors’ Google has worked immensely hard to make its own first smartwatch. Just as Google Pixel phones the new Smartwatch demonstrates the true potential of Wear OS.
Launch date and price.
The first Google smartwatch is likely to release in October 2021. Just as the watch as finally about to launch, render images of the Google Pixel watches were leaked by tipster Jon Prosser. The leaked images of the watch evidently revealed the design of the watch. It confirms that the smartwatch will boot on Google’s own Wear OS.
The Google Pixel watch has already created a lot of hustle amongst people. The expected price of the watch is to range from $200-$350. The watch won’t be as costly as the Apple Watches. Google Pixel Watches is expected to undercut the Apple watches slightly. It is speculated t be the best cheapest smartwatches.
The expected features.
Firstly, the watch appears to have a slimmer profile which suggests that the watch might be lightweight. Much information about the watch was not available until it was leaked by Jon Prosser. The device will be seen featuring a round dial and curved display that wraps around the frame. The render also reveals that the watch body has two colors Silver and Black having colored silicone straps which suggest it might changeable.
It can be so considered that the Pixel watch would be powered by Google’s very own chipset. It might be shipped with the newly launched Snapdragon Wear 4100+.SoC. The watch is a quad-core CPU based on a 12nm manufacturing process and clocked at 1.7 GHz. It might also contain a big crown similar to the Apple.
Google might be working on three Pixel Watch models, named Triton, Ling, and Sardine as claimed by German publication WinFuture. The watch might be containing some fitness-related features in the watch as Google has acquired Fitbit. Google had even sent out surveys asking people about the feature they would like to see in the Wear OS. In the survey, the features which were mention were SPO2- oxygenation tracking, sleep apnea, sleep analysis, and heartbeat alerts as well. The watch is rumored to have a feature which is codenamed ‘BlackGhost’, this feature will allow the watch to listen out for voice commands all the time without battery usage.
