Big Shot is the story of Marvyn Korn. Korn is an NCAA Division 1 basketball coach with temper issues. For his attitude, he got fired from his last job and ends up getting a basketball coach’s job at Westbrook School for Girls. It is situated in San Diego, California. Louisa, a student of the school tells Korn that her father is forcing her to play basketball in order to get good colleges. In the upcoming episodes coach, Korn develops a good team bonding with his students and also debunks troubles from other colleagues.
In the last episode titles ‘Beth Macbeth’, Marvyn is excited about his new job at UCSB. He is offered the head coach position there. After seeing the court of UCSB Korn gets overwhelmed and informs Holly that he is leaving Westbrook. Emma gets distressed by the fact that her mother is thinking of her admitting to Wisconsin. Emma acts angrily in the dress rehearsal confronting Harper.
On the other hand school board is disagreeing to make Holly the head coach. The girls’ team realizes Marvyn is leaving the school and urging him to stop. Marvyn tries to console the girls and thanks, everyone, to attend the play. Destiny reveals that the girls have actually come for Emma’s performance. Emma gives an outstanding performance as the punisher to Beth Macbeth. Marvyn realizes that Beth Macbeth is inspired by him. Just like Beth what is Marvyn is leaving his friends and family just for power.
The final episode (episode 10) is titled ‘Marvyn’s Playbook’. Here fans can get to see after relating with Beth Macbeth’s journey, Marvyn may reconsider his job at UCSB. The girls’ team will get prepared for their final match to enter Division Two. Also, Carlsbad will face serious conflicts regarding playbook stealing.
