The heist crime drama series is one of Netflix’s most successful non-English shows, with 65 million households currently watching the fourth season. Money Heist Season 5: Release Date
Season 4 of ‘Money Heist’ premiered on Netflix on April 3, 2020. There are eight episodes in the fourth season, each lasting 43-61 minutes.
Here’s what we’ve got so far for the fifth season. It was announced on July 31, 2020, that the show will return for its fifth and final season. There may be a number of scenarios for the show’s closure. Since the actors are in such high demand, creator Lex Pina explained that holding the ensemble cast intact is proving difficult.
The Coronavirus pandemic disrupted the production schedule for Season 5. The fifth season is said to have started shooting in August 2020 and ended in January 2021, and is currently in post-production.
The good news is that the show will be available on Netflix in 2021. Pina, on the other hand, hinted that fans would have to wait until after September 2021 for the new season. This means that the fifth season of ‘Money Heist’ will premiere in late 2021.
In comparison to seasons 3 and 4, which both had eight episodes, the fifth series would have ten episodes. The characters’ journey does not necessarily come to an end only because the story is coming to an end. You may be interested to learn that Netflix has been discussing a spin off series for quite some time. A 12-part Korean adaptation of the show was ordered by the streamer in November 2020. Contents Zium and BH Entertainment will work together on this production.
Money Heist Season 5: Plot
The gang completes the final stages of the heist at the Bank of Spain in the fourth season, after which they must flee.
However, the Professor is apprehended and cornered by Inspector Sierra, throwing their plans into disarray. While the gang continues to melt gold at breakneck speed, the Professor must think quickly and devise a strategy to get Sierra off their backs once and for all. Sierra can be heard singing “Bella Ciao” as the credits roll.
In Season 5, we’ll see whether and how the Professor manages to get out of his predicament. Inspector Sierra is heard singing the resistance anthem at the end of the season, implying that things could turn out differently than anticipated.
The most pressing question is whether the gang will be able to flee and if so, will they ever be able to return to normalcy?
Pina has stated publicly that the writers have been plotting ways to split up the team and force them into “irreversible” situations. But one thing is certain: the show will end “stylishly.”
