The Mandalorian has started shooting for Season 3, with its official renewal. Ending credits of Season 2 revealed the spin-off series ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ that would stream on Disney + as well. The next series is set to release in December 2021. It is set after the occurrences of the Return of the Jedi film. It is the first series in Star Wars.
The show follows Din Djarin, a bounty hunter in the outer rim, who is given the task to get ‘The Child’ but ends up saving the child. It follows his adventures in the galaxy. The season was released in November 2019 and the next season in October 2020. The major character is Baby Yoda and Djarin played by Pedro Pascal.
The finale of last season saw many changes, Din and Baby Yoda or Grogu were rescued by Luke Skywalker and Grogu goes with Luke to train in Jedi, leaving the Bounty Hunter. They separate but would that be the last time we see them together?
Created by Jon Favreau, it won 7 Primetime Creative Emmy Awards in 2020.
