The former Mayor and President Donald Trump’s long-time loyal and trustworthy lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s house and office were raided. The raid was carried out because of Giuliani’s business involvement with Ukraine during Trump’s presidency. Another attorney who was close to President Donald Trump and Giuliani, Victoria Toensing’s house and office were not raided but her phone was taken by the FBI team that arrived at D.C area. Donald Trump Really Need To Worried About The Raid At Giuliani’s House And Office.
The specific area of search still remains a mystery as nothing was told to Giuliani and Toensing when they questioned the officer about what exactly they are looking for. People associated with Giuliani and other officials disbelieve, allegations put on Giuliani.
Giuliani too denies this allegation in a statement that came from Giuliani’s lawyer he accused the federal authorities as ” corrupt double standard”. Further, he said that the federal department was ” running roughshod over the constitutional rights of anyone involved in, or legally defeating, former President Donald J Trump.”
Trump with regards to this matter spoke to Fox Business on Thursday he said “Giuliani was the greatest mayor in the history of New York and a great patriot. It’s very, very unfair, what happened on Wednesday. Rudy loves this country so much, it is so terrible when you see things that are going on in our country with the corruption and the problem and then they go after Rudy Giuliani.”
The raid has sparked off a fight between Former President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Donald Trumps followers believe that the raid was conducted because of Joe Biden’s orders. Biden denies all the accusations of the opposition saying – I give you my world, I was not briefed beforehand, I learned about that last night when the rest of the world learned about it, my word, I had no idea this was underway.”
As Biden’s son Hunter too had business deal with Ukraine he had promised not to interfere with the Department of Justice after it began probing the tax affairs of Hunter.
” I made a pledge I would not interfere in any way, order or try to stop any investigation the justice Department had, I’m not asking to be briefed. That’s the justice Department’s independent judgment. This last administration politicized the Justice Department so badly, so many, so many left because that’s not the role – that’s not the role of a president to say who should be prosecuted when they should be prosecuted, who should be not prosecuted. That’s not the role of the president. The Justice Department is the people’s lawyer, not the president’s lawyer.”
The raid has created fear among Trump and people associated with him.
