English Soccer ” Eddie NKETIAH ” Boycott Social Media

The sensational decision by English Soccer Eddie NKETIAH, Arsenal Stricker cited in news for statement boycott Social Media as a part of protest against the Online abuse. The recent online racial abuse includes the long list of football players of ARSENAL’s William and Eddie and also Manchester United’s Marcus RASHFORD and Anthony Martial.

Racist comments on Twitter

Earlier, in February 2021 Eddie had posted a picture of him captioning  “Working with a smile!” post from training ahead of the Europa League tie against Benfica, and the post was met with the abuse and people started replying to racist comments and the comment was to leave the Gunners.

English Soccer Officials on Saturday 24 April 2021, have stated that a week blackout of Social Media as a part of the protest, the tweet which made by Eddie, and some users have commented about saying him to leave the training of gunners.

sky sports reported that F.C ARSENAL, chief executive VINAI VENKATESHAM, questioned that as soon as the comment made the twitter responded by permanently suspending the user’s account and taking charges on the unreasonable behavior by users.

the VINAI further has called a summit on Thursday, so as to protest this online racist abuse. He also said to “wake up” and “not” to underestimate the impact of online abuse. he ensured psychological support to the players and they also track down the abusers and would also take the action accordingly.

This protest cannot be done alone so with the coalition support with  Premier League, the richest and highest Soccer league in the world, ENGLAND’s Soccer Federation to put an end to offensive behavior on the social media spectrum. protest about a week fury and street against the top soccer club which failed to create Breakaway European League.

Finally, Eddie on MONDAY 25 April has called on the United Kingdom to, bring strong legislation to make social media companies more accountable for the recent unacceptable harassment of users on the respective platforms.
