The messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out new features for all its iOS users. Here are all the latest updates about it.

WhatsApp New Updates

Pretty often it is seen that the widely used messaging app, WhatsApp, is rolling out new features and updates. Be it in the beta version or be it for all the users globally.

In a recent update, we have seen that the company has introduced the feature to mute the audio in a video. Also, WhatsApp is working on the update where users will get the option to select the speed of audio messages.

In the recent two updates of WhatsApp, users will get access to larger audio and video previews. Previously, the preview window was very small and one had to tap on it to get a wider view. However, that has been changed in this new update. User will now get a larger audio/video preview in the chat itself.

Coming to the second update, the disappearing messages feature which was rolled out in previous year’s November has been amended. Earlier, the option to turn on this feature was only available to the admins. Once the disappearing messages were turned on, messages sent to the chat would automatically disappear after seven days.

Now with this update, other participants will also have the control over disappearing messages. However, the ultimate decision will still remain with the admin as the admin will decide which participant(s) will be allowed to use this feature. This new feature is available under ‘Edit Group Info’ in that specific group chat settings.
