Britney Spears documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears’ was released on February 5, 2021. It was directed by Samantha Stark and was aired on The New York Times Present. One can watch “Framing Britney Spears” on FX on Hulu now. The documentary talked about her dark times in the music industry and her private life. She talked about the documentary saying there were bits that were too hard to watch.

A source gave an insight about Britney’s perspective saying, “the scenes that portray the foremost troublesome times of her life, the tenacious media circus and the cruel center on her as a young mother. But, she feels, for the first time in a long time, that individuals are on her side and things will get way better for her.” She even thanked the fans for supporting through an Instagram post.

After her documentary got viral, fans started supporting her by using #FreeBritney on their posts. Spears captioned an Instagram clip from her ‘Just a Touch of Rose’ shoot from 2020: “So this video for Just a Touch of Rose was shot final year … these particular takes have never been seen so it’s sort of modern to me !!!! I have over 10 minutes of video for the Rose venture and believe me that’s A Lot!!!! Upbeat to share particularly with a world that’s sympathetic and concerned with my life … what can I say I’m Flattered !!! Here’s to another wonderful summer of popsicles and sunbathing !!”

Also final month, in March she uploaded a post saying she felt ’embarrassed’ about how the media treated her. But in the midst of all that, her fans have been nothing but genuine and supportive to her, so she composed, I am grateful for all of the adore and bolster she is getting from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to an ordinaryastounding future together.”

Another major cause of using this hashtag was that fans speculated that Britney’s manager was controlling her Instagram. That her captions were not written herself. But her social media manager denied this rumor in February 2021 only.
